Galaxy Commercial Holdings is planning a large mixed-use complex at the corner of Sunset and Highland. The proposed project involves the demolition of existing uses to construct, use, and maintain a new 42-story, 586,000 SF mixed-use building. The project includes 384 dwelling units, including 52 dwelling units set aside for Very Low Income Senior households, and 26 dwelling units set aside for Moderate Income senior households, 115 hotel guest rooms, and 23,000 square feet of commercial space, with a maximum building height of 520 feet over five (5) subterranean levels of parking. The project includes 500 vehicle parking spaces, 237 bicycle parking spaces (195 long-term & 42 short-term), and 41,750 SF of open space, including indoor open space, common outdoor open space, and private balconies.

The ground floor of the main building includes a residential lobby, mail room, hotel lobby, retail spaces, and food-and-beverage spaces. The ground floor of the senior building includes a residential lobby, mail room, restrooms, and a multi-function room. The main residential entrance for the senior building is along Leland Way, and the main entrance for the residential and hotel uses in the main tower is from the plaza, with an additional residential entrance along Sunset Boulevard. The fifth floor features a residential terrace walk connecting both portions of the development.
