Clara Franz-Arau was raised in Los Angeles in a Mexican-European family with deep roots in music and entertainment. This multicultural upbringing, combined with her extensive background in musical theater, dance, and songwriting, shaped her into a versatile artist. Her career gained momentum through multiple sold-out performances at The Hotel Cafeand collaborations with Grammy®-nominated producer Greg Manning and Earth, Wind & Fire drummer John Paris.
Her breakout single “Me Faltas Tú” earned international acclaim after being featured by Putumayo World Music as the opening track for their World Love Songs compilation, surpassing 356,000 streams. Clara has performed at iconic venues and events, including The Baked Potato with percussionist Luis Conte, Comic-Con, and as a guest soloist with the Pacific Jazz Orchestra led by Chris Walden.
Clara’s discography includes her jazz album “My Sentimental Way” and the R&B-pop single “I Know That It’s You,”which was selected by the Recording Academy to lead their official “Blockbuster” playlist on Spotify. Most recently, she is featured in the score of HBO Max’s “Like Water for Chocolate” (Season 2), contributing vocals to six tracks alongside composer Dario Valderrama.
