Born in Indianapolis, IN, Didda Joe is a singer, multi instrumentalist, and producer ushering in a new wave of R&B with his nostalgic, edgy, driving, yet soulfully smooth sound very reminiscent to likes of Prince, D’Angelo, Musiq Soulchild, mixed in with a little Jimi Hendrix, Babyface, and more substances long lost in modern R&B music.
Current collaborations with Grammy nominated Ayo the Producer of Cardi B, Lil Wayne and Drake, Didda’s new music is a new reincarnation of 90’s R&B magical soul. Bringing back the sultry vocals of an emotional decade, Didda’s new modern twist on a nostalgic era is young, fresh, sultry ingenuity.
