Singer, songwriter, artist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, painter and polyglot EMAYLA, was born and raised in Italy and is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
She performed and recorded with super star Juanes at the MTV Unplugged and that album won a Grammy in 2012.
EMAYLA was also a finalist at The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, with her original music and she was nominated by The Hollywood Music In Media Awards for the Best R&B/Soul category, with another song, called “Stay With Me”. She was also finalist at the U.S.A. Songwriting Competition.
EMAYLA was also the winner of Rumi Awards 2015 as “Best Artist Europe” and “Best Singer Duet”.
She has performed all over the world and has been featured in many TV shows in networks such as Univision, MTV Très, Telemundo, CNN Español, among others.
EMAYLA has 4 albums out and she is about to release her new single “ENERGY”, her first afrobeats song, coming out August 23rd, 2024.
