We are excited to announce the first-ever Hollywood Block Party on Saturday, June 27th from 11am-4pm! This free, family-friendly event is presented by Amoeba Music, in partnership with the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council, and features some of our incredible neighbors, including Bristol Farms, Capitol Records, Funko!, Goldenvoice, Hollywood Pantages Theatre, Hollywood Partnership, W Hollywood & more.
The Hollywood Block Party is happening on Argyle from Hollywood Blvd to the entrance to the W Hollywood parking garage -- alongside Amoeba Music! We'll have local DJs spinning music, the return of Amoeba's famous sidewalk sale with deals on used vinyl and CDs, DVD box sets, 7" records, used books and more. We are also holding a raffle for awesome prizes at 1pm and 3pm! You can purchase a raffle ticket at multiple booths in the block party for $2 each and all proceeds benefit Food on Foot, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting unhoused and low-income neighbors in Los Angeles. And you won't want to miss an appearance by the amazing Crown City Drum Squad!
Plus, there will be a ton of fun things to explore and experience at the block party! You can get a free airbrush tattoo by We Adorn You LA or a free caricature by Renè Pompa (both while supplies last). Enjoy small bites and beverages from Bristol Farms and W Hollywood, and shave ice from Ice Delight. Check out an interactive fire truck experience from LAFD, and visit resource booths from the Hollywood Partnership, Food on Foot, CHNC, HUNC, and CD13. Register to vote with HeadCount.
