It’s court, but with dolls. I accuse u of a crime. U defend urself against my dolls. Pick up your defense attorney and make her speak! See what a professional doll stylist does with her toys after hours. Have an intimate fringe experience at a real wig store on Hollywood Boulevard.

The American court system has been said to play out like theater and in this curious playtime experience, we expect nothing less. With her collection of dolls, from Barbies to Bratz, Maddie will reveal to you a crime you have committed. Her doll judge will judge you, her doll prosecutor will prosecute you and a carnival of witnesses, evidence, and plastic finger pointing will play out, inviting you to pick up a toy and bring doll law to order.

Maddie works as a professional commercial doll stylist, employed to pose, style, and rig toys for advertising shoots. Some days, Maddie finds herself on a brand’s catalog shoot, a whole collection of products she's entrusted to sort through, present, and display. She prides herself in being able to breathe life into even the least articulated dolls. Her daily obstacle course is that of white seamless, C-Stands, and flashing lights.

Maddie has worked in the toy industry for the better part of 10 years, with a wide gamut of brands including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Masters of the Universe, Polly Pocket, American Girl Doll, Paw Patrol, Bratz, Rainbow High, etc. She started as a hand model, puppeteering narrative play videos for brands to inspire children to play with toys. She’s been a performer her whole life, from singing in music projects to making absurdist solo and group work within the LA clowning community. This is her first foray into combining her niche Hollywood career with her unhinged comedic performance art. I have made my career in creating avenues for children to play with toys; now, I use my skills to open this playtime to adults!

In 2024, Maddie made her break into the Hollywood Fringe Community with “RECTANGLES,” her Absurdist Alt-Rock Opera. She committed all her time and energy to 2024, then took a year-long break from HFF, and is now back with a smaller, newer work and enjoying coming back to the family she got to entangle with in 2024.

This year, she welcomes her production partner, Daniel Koren, to her team and to the fringe family. He will be adding some sound texture to her shows, with a bunch of silly sound cues at his creative disposal.
