Ornithology is the Jazz & Beats alias of Mumbai-born multidisciplinary artist and bird watcher Shaan Chhadva. Beginning with lo-fi beats and evolving into a distinctive sampling style, the project embodies Innovative Reinvention. Over the past three years, the 22-year-old artist has been reimagining Chet Baker’s 1978 live album Love For Sale (Live at the Celebrity Jazz Club), transforming it into a collection of hip-hop beats and electrifying live performances.
Clips from Ornithology’s debut show have amassed over 5 million views, while his expansive discography and production credits have collectively garnered over 250 million streams, cementing him as a trailblazer at the intersection of jazz and contemporary beats.
