Thee Sinseers celebrate their new album, Love Stories with a live in-store performance and signing at Amoeba Hollywood Tuesday, September 15th at 5pm! Love Stories is out September 18th via Colemine Records.
Show is free/all-ages. Pre-purchase Love Stories on green vinyl in-store at Amoeba Hollywood to attend the post-performance signing.
Signing:
- Pre-purchase Love Stories (green vinyl version), in-store at Amoeba Hollywood to receive a hard ticket to attend the signing. LP will be ready for pickup on event day by showing ticket with attached Amoeba store receipt.
- 1 LP + signing ticket per person for the signing. Each person must have own ticket for signing.
- Thee Sinseers will be signing copies of Love Stories purchased at Amoeba. No outside or additional items.
- Space is limited.
Fronted by bandleader and son of East Los Angeles Joey Quiñones, Thee Sinseers have quietly chipped away at the sounds of R&B and soul since forming in 2019, bringing together their interpretation of music through an unmistakable modern lens. On their new Colemine Records release, 'Love Stories', one thing becomes abundantly clear: this is not an LP that explores a neat and tidy love story. It's interested in everything that comes before it, after it, and in spite of it. The band leaned into earthier instrumentation — standup bass, guitars run through amplifiers for a warmer sixties-adjacent tone. It's that cross-genre thinking that Quiñones sees as the record's defining quality. The band sought to capture the highs and lows of romantic relationships while expanding the frame to include the familial, the complicated, and the unresolved. Like an unsent love letter finally delivered, 'Love Stories' carries the weight of everything that was felt but never quite said.
