Hollywood Bowl Breaks Ground on New Artists Pavilion to be completed by June 2026 

“The artists who bring magic to the stage of the Hollywood Bowl and the patrons who make its programs possible will now enjoy the gracious and expansive space they deserve at the Terri and Jerry Kohl Artists Pavilion,” Kim Noltemy, LA Phil president and CEO, and David C. Bohnett, presidential chair, said in a statement. “I extend heartfelt thanks to Terri and Jerry Kohl and to our partners at Los Angeles County and Live Nation Hewitt Silva for their support of this transformative public-private project.”

The new building is a 7,500-square-foot, single-story structure designed by architecture collective RIOS and boasts a full kitchen. The pavilion will give the iconic venue a flexible space that can host anything from artist gatherings to VIP receptions to off-season convenings, enhancing the venue’s hospitality and event capabilities.

Donors Terri and Jerry Kohl made the pavilion possible, along with the support from Andrew Hewitt and Bill Silva of Live Nation Hewitt Silva. “Supporting the Terri and Jerry Kohl Artists Pavilion is an honor for us, as it reflects our deep commitment to the Bowl’s continued growth and to the artists who make it such a vital part of Los Angeles culture,” Hewitt said. “Bill and I have been producing concerts at the Bowl from Pavarotti to Willie Nelson’s 90th Birthday celebration, and we are proud to help create a space that celebrates the talent, creativity, and community that make it one of the most iconic venues in the world.”
