I have some new songs and ideas that I’ve been working on. Some of them are fairly fleshed out, some just have the scaffolding.I’m excited about them all.I’m usually protective and precious about new material.I want to wait until the songs are perfect before I present them to the world, but the truth is, they’re not really perfect until I’ve lived inside of them for a while& played them hundreds of times anyway.So this time I’m going to try something different.I’m going to be vulnerable and work some of them out in public before they become familiarin rooms that feel like home. First up: Hotel Cafe in LA. October 21st and 28th I’m sure I’ll play a couple old faves,but expect to hear new things, songs that are almost as new to me as they will be to you.
