The LA based band Loud Forest started as a raw art punk duo as an excuse to play art gallery
openings. The music has evolved into an artistic, emotional approach to indie-rock shot through
with everything from alternative folk to gospel to shoegaze. The band was formed by
husband-and-wife duo, Bernard and Rachel Chadwick while Bernard was earning his MFA at
Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Their story is doused in indie credibility from years of
self-releases and hosting shows in their experimental art space in Pasadena, CA. Art and music
melt into one another as the band collaborates on performances and multimedia installations.
