Sumukhi Suresh is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and showrunner.
Starting her comedy journey in Bangalore while working at a food lab, she gained recognition through her sharp wit and unique voice in Indian comedy.
She went on to create and star in Pushpavalli, winning a Filmfare Award for Best Comedy Actor.
Besides acting, Sumukhi has judged Comicstaan across three seasons. Her stand-up special Don’t Tell Amma (2019) was critically acclaimed, and After successful shows in London and Singapore, now she heads to the USA tour with her show Hoemonal. She has also been a part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Through her fearless honesty and deeply relatable comedy, Sumukhi has built a thriving community of women who see their own stories in hers.
Adding to her ever-expanding creative portfolio, Sumukhi also stars in Chorriya Chali Gaon, where she brings her signature humour and depth to a powerful, women-led narrative.
A sought-after host, she has helmed events like the Netflix Slate 2025 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s music launch. As a writer, she has worked on CTRL (Vikramaditya Motwane). She was part of Netflix’s Royal’s, where she received immense love from the audience.
