LA born independent artist posey la fleur uses her soulful, stream of conscience style songwriting to explore themes of love, loneliness, and longing in a way that is both conversational and intimate. Prior to her current solo project, posey wrote and sang lead vocals for Berkeley-based indie band Deluna, who released their debut album in 2020. Since then, posey has collaborated as a number of artists, LA based and otherwise, as a songwriter, featured artist, and background vocalist. Though her early influences stem from soul and jazz, she draws inspiration from artists and genres that span both time and genre.
