The career of Korean singer-songwriter Su Lee is a testament to the power of authenticity. After becoming disillusioned with design school, Su returned home to South Korea just before the pandemic and began channeling her creativity into music. Her sound is a whimsical exploration of life’s realities, incorporating bubbly beats and layered vocals that offer a refreshing take on themes such as mental health and navigating life’s challenges.
In 2020, her single “I’ll Just Dance” became a lock-down anthem resonating with millions worldwide. Since her breakthrough, she has dropped two full length albums, Messy Sexy (2022) & Box Room Dreams (2021), and has opened on tour for Chai, Amber Liu, and Mystery Skulls.
In 2024, she was invited to perform at the annual SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Her show at Hotel Cafe will mark her second LA performance of the year
