ABL Hollywood is Los Angeles's first full-scale Jamaican-Chinese-Soul restaurant, brought to Cahuenga Boulevard by mother-daughter chefs Aja and Barbara Dawson. A westward expansion of their beloved Little Tokyo original, ABL Hollywood blends Caribbean warmth with Chinese diasporic culinary traditions, rooted in a history dating back to the 1850s. The intimate 35-seat space serves shareable plates such as oxtail lo mein with hand-pulled noodles, jerk-fried oysters, islander egg rolls, escovitch whole fried snapper, and chen pi ji-style wings. Weekend brunch features apple-rum French toast and red-velvet waffles. Black-owned and reservation-friendly (via Resy).
