AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts: For over 50 years, AMDA has launched some of the most successful careers in theatre, film and television. AMDA creates industry professionals who don't just wait for life to happen—they stage their own career path. 

Home to our degree programs, AMDA Los Angeles immerses you into Hollywood’s creative community. You will even walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame on your way to class. With soundstages and famous theaters in Los Angeles as the backdrop for your Hollywood classroom, you’ll learn the entertainment business firsthand in a city where hundreds of films, television shows, and live performances are in production every day. For generations, artists from around the world have been drawn to Hollywood to pursue their creative passions.

Performance and practice spaces are on campus or nearby. The Cosmo building houses our largest performance space, which can be converted into a traditional proscenium theatre or theatre-in-the-round. The facility also contains several performance studios; an audio recording studio; production, costume, and stagecraft shops; dressing rooms; and offices. Additionally, the Ivar building, located on the grounds of the main campus in a renovated Hollywood recording studio, houses private voice rooms, film production, information technology, and media departments.
