Banh Oui? Oui, Oui, Oui!

Tag: Dining

Now open at Cahuenga and Selma is the new sandwich shop called Banh Oui. According to the restaurant's website, "Banh Oui" translates to "Bread Yes." It is a marriage of two languages, Vietnamese and French, and is indicative of the two types of food on offer at this intriguing new establishment. Created by Armen Piskoulian and Casey Felton with the motto of "experience through taste," the menu features items like the Pork Belly Banh Oui, the Chicken Meatball Banh Oui, Lemon Pepper Wings, Vietnamese Caesar Salad, Oui Burger, and Oui Spiced Fries. They offer a line of unique sauces to augment your meal, such as Vietnamese Ranch, Sriracha Ketchup, and their House Dressing.

Banh Oui also features Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and on Tuesday nights they have a special on their wings for $5. And for a real taste sensation, don't forget to try their unique Sticky Tofu, tossed in Vietnamese Caramel and topped with Cilantro, Rau Ram, Mint, Fresno Chilies, and Fried Shallots.
