LAPD Trespass Arrest Authorization
To protect your property or businesses from unwanted visitors, it's a good idea to post "NO TRESPASSING" signs in highly visible areas. But first, you must file a "No Trespass Authorization Form" with the LAPD. This authorizes the police department to arrest a trespasser even when you're not there.
Once you have filled out the form, drop it off at the LAPD Hollywood Community Police Station located at 1358 N Wilcox Ave, Los Angeles, 90028. Following this, you can put up your signs. It's important to note that Trespass Authorizations must be renewed every 12 months by submitting an updated form.
Don't forget that all "NO TRESPASSING" signs on your property must clearly display the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC Section 41.24) for the police to make an arrest. Please see the example below for how this should look.
