Join Hollywood Heights Association on Thursday, April 30th at the Hollywood Legion Theater for a special 35th Anniversary screening of Dead Again in 35mm!
Emma Thompson is suffering from amnesia and Kenneth Brannagh is the PI dedicated to solving the mystery of her past. Filmmaker Brannagh leaned heavily on elements of noir, including setting Emma Thompson's home at the top of the High Tower elevator - famously the home of detective Phillip Marlowe in Robert Altman's 70s noir The Long Goodbye. But he also brought in into the 90s with new age elements of past life regression and pop psychology.
Come celebrate the High Tower not just as a neighborhood landmark, but as a piece of cinematic history.
Arrive early to have a drink at the Legion's legendary art deco bar!
Trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
PARKING IS VERY LIMITED. We recommend using public transportation (Hollywood/Highland stop on the B line) or Ride share (drop off across the street on Milner). If you require parking, please add parking to your order. Only those who have reserved parking will be allowed to park at the Legion.
