The Big Picture
Hollywood will be at the center of it

The FIFA World Cup 26™ is coming to Los Angeles — the largest single-sport event in history. Los Angeles will host eight matches at SoFi Stadium, including the U.S. Men’s National Team opening match on June 12, 2026. With over 6 million fans expected across the country, Hollywood has a global spotlight moment unlike anything we’ve seen before.

We’re working to showcase everything happening across the district and drive visitors to local businesses throughout the 39-day tournament. If your business is planning something — a watch party, special menu, themed activation, or any World Cup-inspired experience — we want to know about it so we can help spread the word.

A few quick guidelines

The LA World Cup 2026 Host Committee and FIFA have provided guidance on how businesses can participate. Here’s what you need to know.

You CAN

Use the event title “FIFA World Cup 26™” in plain text to inform people of your event’s time and place — as long as no official partnership is implied

Example: “Join us for drink specials on June 12 to celebrate the first U.S. Men’s Match of FIFA World Cup 26™”

Use general soccer themes, national flags, and team colors in your promotions

Host watch parties as part of your venue’s normal course of business — small events under 1,000 people do not require a FIFA broadcast license

You CANNOT

Use official FIFA logos or branding unless you are an official partner or rights holder

Create any lockups with the Host City logo or the official FIFA logo

Imply an official partnership or sponsorship with FIFA or the Host Committee

Note: Single-branded sports retail stores, breweries, restaurants, and airports may not use “FIFA World Cup 26™” — check FIFA’s guidance directly
