It's been a long, difficult year for all of us. While the pandemic has had drastic effects on our lives and our neighborhoods, the light at the end of the tunnel has become visible. As more people are vaccinated and businesses adapt to ensure safety and health measures are met, many people are beginning to get back out and do the things we all used to do. We are excited each day by the new possibilities as our businesses open or re-open in Hollywood. Here are some of the notable business re-openings that are making Hollywood feel more like Hollywood!
Our world-famous landmark theater is no longer dark! As of Monday, March 29, 2021, the Chinese is once again showing movies on its gigantic IMAX screen. The theater will adhere to all CinemaSafe guidelines as well and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health’s Protocols for Movie Theaters.
Disney's home on Hollywood Boulevard kept afloat by offering virtual experiences during the dark days of the pandemic, but we are pleased to announce their reopening as of March 19, 2021. They are now showing Disney's "Raya and the Last Dragon" and "Soul."
The world's largest independent record store had to prematurely close their original Hollywood location last year, months before they were due to move to their new location on Hollywood Blvd. Now, they are ready to debut their new home on April 1, 2021.
Located next door to the world famous TCL Chinese Theatre, Madame Tussauds is Hollywood's hottest must-see celebrity-filled wax museum. Madame Tussauds has reopened as of March 19, 2021 with limited hours and new safety measures.
As of March 22, 2021, Ripley's Believe It or Not! is excited to welcome you back to all things odd and unbelievable. Be sure to check out their website before visiting for hours of operation and safety procedures.
Hollywood's longest surviving bookstore has once again opened its doors after being closed for 375 days! As of March 29, 2021, they are happy to welcome customers inside to explore their extensive collection of books, scripts, posters, movie memorabilia and more.
A new addition to Hollywood Boulevard, Target has opened a new, small-format store quietly in early March, 2021. The new location includes a Starbucks, a grocery selection with fresh produce, an alcoholic beverage section, clothing, home goods, health and beauty products.
Once again, visitors can experience record-breaking fun at one of the most visited indoor Los Angeles attractions.Or, attempt to break a world record for themselves! There's also a Kids Zone, where young visitors can test their strength and stamina at five fun challenges

What we're still looking forward to...
There are a number of businesses that we are anxiously awaiting to re-open their doors, as soon as they are able to do so. While many factors contribute to when and how a business can safely allow customers back inside, we are confident that these businesses are working to determine how and when they will come back.
